Sunrain Bloodline


The House of Sunrain, is one that goes back for centuries, formed and passed down only the purest of the Sin'dorei generations, proud of their heritage and line, currently the House is under the command and
guidance of Lord Dandaren Sunrain, and the heir apparent Sathrian Sunrain, and sister Aelieyah Sunrain. The family are direct descendants of Ulathien Sunrain, and his three sons Chadolath, Gaelan and Dartorus. The Sunrain Lordship passed down to Torendel and then to Dandaren, although the other Sunrain family members hold positions within the head household.

At the start
of the Third War, the family members of the Sunrain were spread out, as far south as you could go, as war ravaged on the family members dwindled, The three brothers all fell in battle, first Chadolath, then
Gaelan and finally Dartorus, when this happened the family were brought into a state of chaos and anarchy, with no clear leader and no one suitable to take up the reins of the household.

As the Prince betrayed Silvermoon, the eldest of the remaining descendants Torendel, took up the reins as leader, supported by his brother Sathrain. As the City of Silvermoon recovered from the betrayal, the Sunrain's formed a strong alliance like many of their race with the Warcheif Thrall, coming to the aid of the Horde.

As time wore on and Deathwing scorched the lands, The Sunrain led by Torendel came together and formed a small army of Knights, Rangers, Magistracy and of course Priests. Together they stronger than ever, stormed into the fight, proving again the might of the Sunrain.

With the sudden and unexpected disappearance of Torendel and Tessica on their wedding day, led to a two day scouting mission by the Sunrain Rangers, when all that was found was a torn tabbard and part of a wedding dress, near the troll ruins in the Hinterlands.

The Sunrains were called together and it was mutally agreed upon that Dandarenwould take up the Patriarchal Position in the House, advised closely by Tahlrar and Aleskia along side Talethia with Sathrian still as heir apparent. But the House would be run more as a democracy. Modern thinking for these most noble and traditional of Elves.


We are primarily a role playing guild, but we also have a successful raid team, pvp teams and herioc runs. Please read our OOC rules and Guild Information below.



RP:~ We don't tell you how to play your Character, but we do like you to keep to your station, if your a Lady, act like a Lady, that means no slumming it in Murder Row playing kissy face with every elf that comes past. Be realistic, we don't want superman, we like a good and high standard of role play, we will also help you if you need it. We RP in real time - One day in WoW is one dayin RL, if for example your going to RP a pregnancy, we expect it to last for the minimum of eight months.

Activity:~
Please be as active as you can, we understand RL happens, let one of the Officers know if your going to be inactive for a long period.

Manners:~ Our Officers are aware that you can't always get on, it happens, if you have a problem with someone, come to one of the Officers. Or take it to whisper, we don't want arguments and drama in our guild chat.

IC/OOC Spying:~ We understand it happens, as its happened to us. Using OOC knowledge IC is METAGAMING. If your caught spying OOC for another guild, we will blacklist you. Also if you are in our Guild and leak private/personal/guild information to others ie. gossiping, you will be warned and or kicked.

Racial: We were primarily a Blood Elf only guild, but a meeting of the Officers was held and we
felt that we missed out on many great Rpers, so we accept all races within our House, including well rped Death Knights. We also allow your alts into our guild so you can still enjoy the perks of a Level 25 guild
and guild chat. Your alts may either come in on a rank, or stay at the friends rank.

Consideration: Consideration to other guilds and relations. Pretty self explanatory, we expect you to
honour our guild and treat other guilds how you wish us to be treated. We do crack down hard if you bring disgrace to our tabard and our guild.

Raiding and PVE: We do raid, Thursdays (old School 60's/70's and 80's Raids) and on Fridays (10 mans) if you enjoy PVE you are more than welcome to sign up for them. Guild members are always active doing Herioc's and LFR.

The 10 man Dragon Soul Raids are run by Talethia and they are invitation only, if you are interested in Raiding with us, you will have to talk to Talethia. We are currently 8/8 on Dragon Soul, Deathwing down! We have Deathwing on Farm. Were are starting on Heriocs.

Communication: We have a 25 slot server, which you are welcome to join, as with all things, we ask that you keep drama out of it. The Voice server gets busy and loud, a definate good sense of humour is required. At times it gets risque but all in all, its good fun and definately good for getting to know your guildmates. Please remember this is a perk and do not abuse it. Anyone found gossiping will get a warning and/or kicked.

Guild Chat: Our guild chat is busy and a lively and fun place to be in. We try to keep drama to a minimum, we also ask that you try to do the same. Also discussions of relegious or political views are not always welcome, neither is overtly rude. We try to remember to keep it PG12..... (honest)

Bullying and Harrasment: We do not tolerate it, if we feel you are bullying a fellow guildie we will first
talk to you, if the complaint arises again you will be warned, its a three strikes and your out policy.

Spit Emote (/spit): This is an instant guild kick, IF you are seen in RP, RP-PVP using this emote. There is no ifs, ands or buts, you will be kicked. (People have asked why we have this rule, during a RP-PVP event one of our members spat on a Dwarf RPer, we were disgusted, war is war, but that was downright rude and disrespectful.)

ERP: Yes we know it goes on, but if you are found in PUBLIC you will get an instant kick, and the rest of the guild will be told why, and its embaressing for you and for us, to tell them you got caught fapping in Thunderbluff for example.
